March, 2020 – Development in ClaimAuditor over the past several months has opened new opportunities for expanded audit workflow support. We have introduced audit support for a variety of non-claim transactions including enrollment and membership records, inquiry records and benefit record types.
January, 2020 – Datamethod welcomes a talented new Support Tech and Database Administrator.
December, 2019 – Many clients have expressed interest in having access to select lines of business limited to a restricted set of users. ClaimAuditor features are being released this month which will allow clients to create their own unique business rules to enable audit permissions for visibility, based on user-specific assignments. In addition, these new features will allow clients to also ‘hide’ the results of previous audits (i.e., for training purposes) and to mask the name of an auditor to protect prior audit results.
October, 2019 – Datamethod has long provided clients the ability to automate their audit data loading and sampling process. We have created new, more transparent tools within the audit application to give clients greater visibility to see data import status and to manage new sample creation or changes. Client users will have the ability to view all changes in process and the current status of any changes or requests made. This is one more way we’re enabling clients to get the audit workflows out of email and into a more controlled feature set within the application.
September, 2019 – Regulated audits, Customer Experience and State-mandated audits just got a whole lot easier to manage. Managing audits of different types of transactions and requirements is complicated. The steps needed to define the scope of each unique type of audit can be varied. ClaimAuditor now allows clients to create custom Checklist workflows to support the ability to define individual audit steps, grading or scoring of audited transactions and develop secondary workflows to audit actions.
June, 2019 – A SOC 2 Report is an established convention and yardstick for service organizations, like Datamethod, to demonstrate their commitment and adherence to security and delivery of high quality services to clients. Performed by an independent CPA firm, Datamethod completed our 2019 SOC 2 in June as a way to report our compliance with the key SOC 2 principles of security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
May, 2019 – This month we’ll be releasing a significant feature upgrade for the process of Flagging claims and errors in ClaimAuditor. The concept of Flags has been a well-used feature for many years but the new changes provide users with a much greater level of customization and individual workflow support. With the new release, users will be able to create their own company-specific criteria for building and communicating flagged issues to other users. This expands the capability for managing CAP (corrective actions), benefit and configuration issues and recovery-related events. Clients can create unique Flag types with desired data elements, trigger dates, status and priority-settings as well as required data fields for responder completion. These new features will be worked in client UAT environments this month with full production release planned for June.
March, 2019 – Datamethod has released tons of new Themes in ClaimAuditor so users can pick the visuals that are most appealing to them while performing their work. Allowing users to select their own personalized view not only dazzles things up but, we’ve also re-worked the fonts, size and colors so all screens are much easier to read.
February, 2019 – The concept of ‘Audit Teams’ – allowing clients to create and manage groups of auditors in a team environment was released in ClaimAuditor this month. This allows our clients to set up management of audits and workflows with a structure that matches their own internal department naming conventions. Much more efficient for overall audit management and adds increased transparency in reporting.
