January, 2022 – In a typical audit production environment it is not unusual for clients to remove / delete transactions from a specific audit sample for a variety of reasons. This feature enhancement allows users to request transaction replacements in the application and have our automated sampling features select additional audits from the file population which are selected and placed in the desired sample. User requests for replacement transactions are tracked in a visible history log for timing execution and general oversight of the process.

October, 2021 – Datamethod successfully achieved SOC2-Type 2 certification for the audit period of Oct 2020 through September, 2021. Our SOC2 certification covers three of the trust principals; Security, Confidentiality and Availability. Information regarding our SOC2 reporting can be obtained by contacting our Sales team or your Support team representative.

September, 2021 – At Datamethod, our goal of partnering with clients to help achieve their business needs is always a focus. RPA (or Robotic Process Automation) is an area which we believe will provide significant opportunities for enhanced audit efficiency, accuracy and productivity. We’ve launched a development pilot to; 1) Integrate existing RPA output data into ClaimAuditor for completion of audits, and 2) Automate the data integration to ClaimAuditor from the RPA system. We are in the design phase currently…more to come as the project unfolds.

June, 2021 – Good communications are essential to an audit tool. We’ve significantly enhanced the various options that users will have in generation (or not) of email notifications related to errors, flags and other secondary workflow items.

December, 2020 – Datamethod uses an external vendor to audit our HIPAA compliance and related policy / procedural / training actions. Once again, we have successfully received our annual audit and certificate of compliance for this regulatory mandate.

October, 2020 – Auditor productivity is important to effectivity manage audit resources and staffing. The ClaimAuditor application has been enhanced to expand the capabilities for logging auditor time with new features to capture specific work assignments and non-audit time spent.

September, 2020 – Many of Datamethod clients manage their quality results across a broad group of independent licensees. Though independent plans, the specific quality measures and filtering that they need to apply to quality reporting has been designed in ClaimAuditor to permit common report design and filtering capability.

August, 2020 – The ClaimAuditor feature set for audits and errors have been expanded to permit the auditor to apply a ‘reminder’ to these tasks for future review or follow up. The reminder also permits the user to add a reason and due date for future review. All reminders are tracked and managed in the user workflow menu to provide easy reference and oversight.

August, 2020 – Datamethod is pleased to welcome Mindy Buss as Application Support Technician. Mindy will be responsible for supporting customer and user inquiries, product development and testing. She has served in senior configuration and data analytical roles of Benefits, Provider Data Management and Contracting for 3 regional health plans and is also a Board Certified Patient Advocate.

July, 2020 – Over the past year we have been strategically releasing enhancements to ClaimAuditor for expanded user controls in sample controls – putting more tasks into the control of users for communicating, creating, editing and managing filtering changes to all automated samples.
